And the nominees are...

The 84th Academy Awards will be taking place at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, California, on February 26th 2012. This year's Oscar will be full of interactivity! So, you Oscar fans can start filling in your ballots at oscar.go.com/mypicks, compete with your friends on Facebook and track your picks! Make your Hollywood predictions more fun and social!

Additionally, if you have an ipad, ipod touch or iphone you can download an app that will give you unique access to the red carpet, backstage and to the Governors Ball. How? 20 live cameras will be strategically placed on the locations mentioned before. This way you will get the best coverage before, during and after the Awards Ceremony.

Last year it was evident to me that the best picture was going to be The King's Speech. There was no discussion, because of the storyline, the actor's performances, the scenes, the editing, soundtrack, etc. It was a master piece. However, regarding this year's nominees for best picture is not clear to me which movie could be the winner. Unfortunately, I have not seen all the nominees for best picture, but I have heard good comments regarding: The Help, Moneyball and Hugo. Until now my vote would be for Moneyball! Why? because I like Brad Pitt's performance, as well as Jonah Hill's, the storyline and the editing. However, the favorite seems to be The Artist. Let's see what happens on February 26th, can't wait!
